as an indian i am ashamed to be part of a nation that has been gradually fed with hatred and misinformation by it's media and fascist government. also my heart goes out to all of my pakistani neighbours in these difficult times, caused by our stupid as fvck prime minister.
This reel by Abbass Bukharii is the best thing I’ve heard so far on the Pak India Situation.
Every word. Sensible. From the heart. And so true.
Slow clap, Respect and Salute.
A brother and a sister martyred in Kotli. The sister was a university student and brother was 9th class student. I'm short of my words—how painful this is. A big fuck you to anyone from other side of border who's endorsing these attacks by Indian army on innocent civilians.
When a CCPO handling a rape case puts a horrendous statement on national TV that women should not travel alone at night, these kind of rape cases take place. Now it’s clear why he should have been fired!

It’s interesting how all the people who were ranting against @LuxStylePk last year because apparently people weren’t dressed ‘appropriately’ are the same people who are supporting an abuser this year!
#BoycottLUXStyleAwards
Don’t know if I should be angry at @LuxStylePk or all the women still supporting an abuser. No wonder we don’t progress as a society because our women would rather fantasize about an abuser with pretty face than support another woman!

I wonder why our country is so behind the world in this industry or any other. I wonder why people here don’t take an initiative to create something because the people who do are crushed by government…

I love cinema and it really pinches me that our country is somehow unable to make a mark in this industry. But then we have movies like JOYLAND that is being appreciated all around the world and winning awards. Yet our very own government chooses to sabotage it!

As a woman, one of the first things I notice in a public space is how many other women are there. The fact that men don’t have do this is a constant reminder that men in public spaces (esp in Pakistan) is the default and women have to bargain to be there.
