Shewa Operation Update – North Waziristan

On 20 May 2026, during a sanitization operation in Boballi village, Shewa, North Waziristan, security forces eliminated 8 more FAK militants, bringing the total neutralized in the ongoing operation to 30. Two suspects were also apprehended during the action.

As part of the clearance, militant hideouts and underground bunkers in the area were located and destroyed, denying the group both shelter and operational space.

The operation remains ongoing as forces continue to clear the area and pursue remaining elements.
