The MiniMiner USB (06/2013), the prototype that lead to the BF1 (BPMC) and BF2 (MineCoin). It used an Avalon 3256 first generation asic & a Female USB mini B connector. Later with the BF1 & BF2, the asic was switched for Bitfury’s BF76C55 & the type of USB connector was changed also (BF2 uses two bitfurys instead & wears a much larger heatsinks). All of these were done by the same developer & all started with the MiniMiner. The idea that “the more customs boards r available, the better it is” motivated him to get started in all of this stickminer business. #bitcoinmining #btc #pow #bitcoin
