After 2 almost ever-present seasons with the club, we can confirm that Jack Giddens will be leaving the Tags this summer.

Our highest goalkeeping appearance maker, Gidds has been a brilliant person to have around the club, and his fine efforts inbetween the sticks earnt him all 3 player of the season awards this year 👏

After playing most of the season with a torn meniscus, Gidds has just had an operation and will spend the Sunmer recovering. We thank Gidds for battling through the discomfort and did offer him the opportunity to rehab with the club, but he feels a fresh start is best post op, and of course we wish him all the best 🙌

Thanks for the penalty saves, the positive personality, and “God bless ya” Gidds 🥹

We’re delighted to announce that young defender Nathan Wilson is also joining Praise Ogbebor in staying at the club for the upcoming campaign 🙌

Nigerian winger Praise showcased his amazing ability to beat a man plenty of times last season, and we’re excited to see what he can do in the tier below 🔥

Meanwhile 20 year-old centre-back Nathan, much like Ellis Devereux, is truly one of our own having come through our reserves before gaining incredible experience as captain at the tier below our current level ©️

We are pleased to confirm that club legends Tomo Anderson & Matty Wooldridge have verbally committed to the Tags for the upcoming season 🙌

Academy series 3 graduate Matty Wooldridge has gone on to become the club’s record appearance maker, and looks set to extend his record next season! A title winner back in the 2022/23 season 🏆 Matty has a string of accolades to his name already, including as part of the 2025 fan voted all-time XI 💫

Tomo is another one that’s made the all-time XI, and currently sits 6th in our appearances record, having also been a part of the side that were champions at step 4 👏

We are pleased to confirm that the Algerian Arrow Bilal Sayoud has verbally agreed to stay with us next season! 🙌

After signing for the club late on in the 25/26 campaign, Bilal quickly became a fan favourite, scoring 4 times in his 6 appearances for us, including a fine free-kick in the last game of the season 🔥

The winger has said he already “feels at home” with us, so we’re excited to see what we can do together next season at our 𝑵𝑬𝑾 home 🤝

After 3 incredible years at the Tags, veteran defender Nathan Smith will today be moving on. During his time with us Nathan has impressed plenty, winning all 3 player of the season awards in 2024, and even wearing the armband on many of an occasion ©️

Smudge has gone on to play more outfield minutes than anyone else, featuring in 82% of all total minutes since he arrived (including games he was unavailable for), and he was a late addition to the side that won the Isthmian North 🏆 Nath has had a truly phenomenal career, and we are forever grateful to have been a part of his journey 🙌

A top man on and off the pitch, and someone who always brings the “ENERGY MAN” , we’d like to thank him for his efforts whilst with us, and wish him all the very best with whatever comes next 🥹 #OnceATalwaysATag
