I warmly congratulate Hon. Alhaji Hamza Bello on his election as the Chairman of the APC in Adamawa State, alongside all the newly elected members of the State Working Committee.
This Congress has once again reaffirmed our collective commitment to strengthening the party’s structures, safeguarding its values, and ensuring that the APC remains a broad, inclusive platform for all who believe in progress, unity, and purposeful leadership.

It was a profound honour to be recognised among distinguished statesmen and dignitaries from across the continent as a recipient of the African Humanitarian Award.
I am deeply encouraged by the words of support from the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, who urged me to remain steadfast in advancing initiatives that uplift and empower African communities.
This recognition belongs equally to the incredible team at AB Haske Foundation whose dedication continues to transform lives across our continent.
My sincere appreciation to the organisers of the African Heritage Awards for this remarkable honour. Together, we remain committed to building a stronger and more prosperous Africa.

Last night at the Emirates felt like one of those long, tense football nights that remind you why the game is so special. The air was heavy with nerves, every pass carrying the weight of hope, every moment stretching endlessly as Arsenal edged their way into the Champions League semi-finals.
Among the roar of the crowd, it was even more special sharing the moment with fellow Nigerians — laughter, banter, and a little relief after the heartbreak of the Premier League title race slipping away.
Football has a way of giving you pain and joy in the same breath… and last night, under those lights, it gave us a memory to hold on to.

On Saturday, I received the African Humanitarian Award at the African Heritage Awards in Accra, Ghana, for the work of the AB Haske Foundation in empowering young people and vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
The award was presented by Ms. Antoinette Monsio Sayeh, former Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Our delegation to Accra was led by His Royal Majesty Homun Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke, JP, MFR, Diyoshifoto of Tikulo Batta Kpangashye, and Chairman of the Batta Traditional Council. His presence and support meant a great deal to me and I am deeply grateful.
I also want to thank His Excellency President John Mahama for his kind words and warm reception. Ghana’s hospitality was felt at every turn.
The AB Haske Foundation was built on a simple belief that if you have been given something, you find a way to pass it on. Seeing that belief affirmed on a continental stage tells me we are on the right track. To my team, to our partners, and to every young person in Nigeria whose potential we have invested in, this belongs to you far more than it belongs to me.
I also want to congratulate my fellow awardees, Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, Professor Lesley Lokko, Amb. Dr. Elisha Attai, Ms. Antoinette Monsio Sayeh, and Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, among others. Each of them represents the very best of what Africa looks like when its people commit to something bigger than themselves.

Yesterday’s consultations were very engaging as my team and I held strategic interactions with distinguished leaders, including former Governor Bala James Ngilari, former SGF Boss Mustapha, grassroots leader Ibrahim Bilal, and respected community figure Anna Sini. Their valuable counsel and encouragement further underscore the importance of unity, experience, and continued engagement as consultations progress in pursuit of shared growth and development.

An extraordinary wave of support greeted my return to Yola on Wednesday from the APC National Convention in Abuja, as thousands of enthusiastic supporters gathered at Lamido Aliyu Mustapha International Airport to welcome us home.
What was particularly inspiring was the overwhelming presence of young people. Many who previously showed little interest in politics are now stepping forward with renewed passion, purpose, and belief in a better future for our state. Their energy and growing participation signal the rise of a new generation determined to shape the direction of Adamawa and drive meaningful progress.

Allah Ya sa wannan lokaci na bege da sabuntawa ya kawo zaman lafiya, haɗin kai, da albarka mai yawa ga kowanne gida a cikin jiharmu mai albarka.
The love has been overwhelming and I am genuinely grateful. For now though, let us respect the process. My focus remains on the engagements, on listening, on showing up, and sharing my vision for a state I love deeply.
