Christmas - the greatest day in history! 'Our God contracted to a span, incomprehensibly made Man!' Our only sure hope. God's 'Last Adam'!

Former Pastor Dr.R.T. Kendall preaching 11:00am & 5:30pm today 28th June, at Westminster Chapel. One of my great predecessors!
Such a joy!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Much of our witnessing is weak and unconvincing. We haven't been convinced. We're not awed and claimed by Jesus. He's a hobby, not our Lord!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Unbelief isn't a smart choice, it is a sinful moral choice. A refusal to face facts due to a deluded God-denying and truth-resisting heart.

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Falsehood and deceit are evils in some religions. In God's kingdom we don't deceive people. The whole Bible is a book of absolute honesty.

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

No matter what your calling is, the world wants it done in a strong way not a weak way. Do it boldly in God's Spirit, or don't do it at all.

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Every true man is chosen by God. Providence has shaped him. The world awaits him. He has a special work God fitted him for. Not anyone else.

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Really educated men feel that what they know is a fragment of what may be known. True education makes us humble. Great men are humble men.

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Jesus' empty tomb was the doom of death, a great breach in its power. The Death of Death in the Death of Christ. We can all find safety now!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Christ's cross & empty tomb was his destructive assault on Death itself. The Death of Death, in the death of Christ!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Great chance to honour Mothers tomorrow, with Mothering Sunday tribute 'Raising Children of Destiny'. 15th Mar. 11:00am. I married the best!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

The safest, most fruitful life is the all-out life: risky, bold, outspoken, honest, truth-telling, Christ-serving. No room for dull trivia!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Preaching's a tough task, demanding much of us. We can play the right notes but not the music. It's not painting by numbers! Rescue people!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Don't be fazed by the next big threat in your life. David faced 9ft Goliath, looked up, and shrunk him to a question mark! (1 Sam.17:26)

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

Jesus didn't kill his enemies in violent jihad to save himself. He loved them, by dying their just death to open Paradise.Ask the 2nd thief!

[Greg Haslam @HaslamGreg]

The vile jihadist Paris killings recall Saul's hell-hate of Xns. But Christ met him and turned his hate into love, and life-saving mission!

@JohnCleese I was early in Nov. queue at Waterstones Piccadilly to buy 'So Anyway' which has been such a laugh-tonic this Christmas. Thanks!
