The President of the United States of America @POTUS
Dear Mr. President,
We, the people of India, belong to a free and sovereign nation. We no longer take orders from distant foreign shores.
Please mind your own business to the best of your abilities.
Mutual respect between sovereign nations is the only foundation of lasting global peace.
We wish your country and its people peace and prosperity.

@tanvirsadiq Despite our foolish tendencies, we are not foolish enough to appreciate Omar Abdullah's decision to maintain the status quo regarding the proposed 20% surcharge on electricity tariff.
OBITUARY OF GOVERNANCE
Two news items about the elected government that caught my attention.
The first was news and photos of CM sahib inaugurating a slew of projects in his Assembly constituency Ganderbal. He was accompanied by two ministers. So Chief Minister and two Ministers spent a day in an Assembly constituency.
The second news item was about the rest of 3 ministers taking a review of each other’s constituencies in the Secretariat along with the officers. My sympathy with those IAS officers who have worked hard to pass the IAS exams, having to sit with three ministers to review the respective constituencies of three ministers.
What model of governance is this? So the entire cabinet comprising of five minsters and CM sahib, basically spent the entire day visiting or reviewing 4 Assembly constituencies.
We have a cabinet of 6. And 4 Assemblies were reviewed or visited. So for every one ministerial or chief ministerial assembly constituency, 1.5 ministers spent the day reviewing or visiting it.
Where do you guys get so much time. Running one department is so time consuming. That is, if you are actually running the department. You have 4 to 5 departments each. And that too big ones. And the superman CM sahib has I think 32 or 29.
Are you running the department or is the bureaucracy running them for you. Why vote, why have elections if the same bureaucracy has to run departments after elections. Has the political contribution to governance now relegated to transfers and maybe some retributive actions. Is that all.
This is not politics I am indulging in. This is a an obituary of our governance. While government is tottering and failing to meet expenditure targets, while the treasuries run dry, the ministers are busy reviewing each other’s constituencies.
And they are so bright. They don’t know that you don’t publish such gibberish in newspapers.
Mark my words. This government will go down in history as one of the most invisible and inefficient governments’.
And also mark my words. You guys will beat your own record of failure set by you in the period 2008-2014.
JKPC President @sajadlone along with Sr. VP @_GaniVakil , Distt President Baramulla @asiflone786 visited Botingoo to offer condolences to the family of Prof. Ab Gani Bhat who recently passed away.
An unforgettable moment of pride! @MartialKashmir from Pulwama etched his name in history with a thunderous first-round MMA victory against China. With the Tricolour on his shoulders and ‘Allahu Akbar’ on his lips, he carried the hopes, faith, and dreams of Kashmir and India alike.
A victory that goes beyond sport—straight into our hearts.
I have been put under house arrest in order to prevent me from visiting Botingoo, the ancestral village of Proffesor Ghani sahib.
I fail to understand what is the need for this. Professor sahib was a pacifist and literally long retired. A final good bye is something which we all deserved.
The apples destined for the rest of the country are in a state of rot. Massive losses for the apple growers. I am sure there must be some remedial measures. Inclement weather is not fault of the government. But sitting like a mute spectator and doing nothing is criminal.
My humble advice to CM sahib. Stop wandering aimlessly across the country. Sit with your officers and stakeholders and work out a strategy.
For the sake of information. Till date up to 25000 Kashmiris have been detained under PSA since it was “invented” as a law in 1978 by Sheikh Sahib.
MLAs were routinely detained under the PSA. My father was detained multiple times under the PSA as a sitting MLA. So were many other MLAs.
It is a request to the government of the day to sanction special casual leave for Muslim employees across J & K today, given the mismatch between declared holiday and actual festival date.
It is a routine practice in case of restricted holidays.
Im not a religious scholar but in In Islam, idol worship is strictly forbidden—the gravest of sins. The foundation of our faith is Tawheed.
Placing a sculpted figure, at the revered Hazratbal Dargah goes against this very belief. Sacred spaces must reflect only the purity of Tawheed, nothing else.
The sequence of events at the Hazratbal shrine is unfortunate. Using an emblem inside a revered religious shrine is regrettable.
It is imperative that we do not allow tempers to flare up. The police should desist from registering an FIR.
And the political class may be please use caution in their utterances. Any operational measures will eventually target non-leaders.
In an interview Mr Ali
Mohammed Watali ex DIG talked about my late father.
Interestingly both the interviewer and the interviewee happen to be traditional NC side kicks.
Someone sent me a clip.
“In the clip, Mr Watali in this interview alleges that my late father went to attend the university convocation of his son Sajad, in London.
And that in his hotel he was called upon by people from ISI who asked him to come to Iran. And that my father took a flight to Iran. Where an aircraft was waiting. And as per Mr Watali the aircraft took my father to Pakistan where he met Zia ul Haq. “
To Mr Watali and his handlers. May I put some facts.
1)My convocation was in July 1989.
2)Zia Ul Haq died in August 1988
3)My father stayed all the time in Cardiff with me. He never stayed in a hotel.
4)Immigration records must still be available to check whether my father came back via Iran or direct from Heathrow.
At this age Watali sahib, we expected much better from you. Not this fiction. I would not have responded. But it was my convocation. And I was there all along until my father arrrived and departed from London.
Who is the audience you want to reach out to with this innuendo ????
You are mentioning facts but why shy away from bitter truth?
Why don’t you mention your grandfather—Marhoom Mufti Mohammad Sayeed—who, as Union Home Minister in 1990, banned FAT?
That ban remains in force to this day. In fact, in 2022 this very administration invoked the same order to halt academics in FAT schools—the seeds of which were sown by your grandfather himself.
