I think this 'marquee' notion is overplayed a bit and ends badly as often as it goes well. See Isak, Alexis Sanchez, Di Maria. We need a few quality midfielders that 1. Compliment each other in style 2. Have a blend of ages / experience. 3. Really want to be at the club.

I’ve watched Ederson a few times and he’s alright, but the reason I’m very hyped about this signing and why I think he’ll succeed is because more than half of the Manchester United fanbase don’t rate him.

They all wanted Delap, Gyökeres, Sancho, Ugarte, Højlund, and wanted us to sell Bruno for Baleba, the list goes on. You’d think they know better than the people that signed, Sesko, Mbeumo, Cunha, Lammens, Heavens & Dorgu.

So welcome to Manchester United, Ederson. Hopefully, you’ll make us proud.

When we lost the final to Spurs the whole fanbase said we needed 7+ players, INEOS brought in only 3 players but yeah Amorim was properly backed. Amorim win ratio are bad but it doesn't excuse the board from signing players.
