"Hello. My name is -------, and I am addicted to AirFix Figures..." Here is a sample of what happens to people like me. When the ups and downs of the supply chain dry up the sources for actual AirFix, one makes do with what they can find. Here, a Miniature Figurines LTD Lead figure was unconsciously painted to resemble the Sheriff of Nottingham as found in the AirFix. In a related incident, one of my more interesting Hobby Shop moments happened when I came upon boxes of the HaT Miniatures 7000 series of reissue boxes of AirFix figures. This was after a very long period of nonavailability of the AirFix-branded boxes.
