Mecha Green Hill Zone from Sonic Chaos is such a cool concept. It’s Green Hill again without being “just Green Hill again”. There are bombs hiding in fake mechanical trees, tilted metal platforms to run across, and it’s just an awesome twist on a familiar trope.

@shinobi4130 Yep! The Sega CD version is a huge improvement over the Genesis original. Among other things it has a lot more characters and more finishing moves that are extra gory like Mortal Kombat.

@JohnnyMoonBlade Thanks, I appreciate it! Yeah I’d say Mario Kart World is a lot better if you look at it for what it does well rather than the aspects where it lacks in. The tracks are great, Knockout Tour is really fun, and the roster is all over the place in a good way.

Happy 40th Anniversary to the Metroid series! One of the most unique Nintendo series that’s full of great games, and a series that I really need to play more of.

Final Fight CD has such good music, NBA Jam is pretty much the only non-Mario sports game I enjoy, and I absolutely love the campiness of Night Trap.
