Visited Assam's Golokganj Camp organized and managed by Sangh Paribar for the post election result violence hit people of WB. Heart wrenching to meet nearly 300 people in the camp.

Heavy rain in hill states around, deforestation, subsequent enormous siltation & release of excess water by neighboring Bhutan devaste Assam every year. Assam alone is not responsible for recurring flood. Govt should declare Assam flood a national disaster by amending NDMAct2005.
