@BlameItOnRyen You're a fkn moron. It isn't about the game it's about making a small populated genre that generates no income. You can't make money on a game like marathon when it's one of the lowest played game genres out there. Bungie wanted a hardcore, not for everyone, extract. They got it
@Dusky402@Gladd It's just loot, shoot, goop and leave. It is the dopamine hit for getting out with what you need or high end loot. It is crushing or maddening to get the stuff and lose it to a rat or even to someone in a gunfight. Most people don't like putting in effort and losing it all.
@MuItimach I said it before but Bungie wanted a "hardcore, fast ttk" extraction made for people better than average at pvp. They were warned this was a niche genre and this type would be a lower player base than the other extracts. Now they are stuck trying to change things or fail
@YeahhDanTV@MuItimach Wait, wait we have DMG. Lmao, he should be let go bc they just put him out front and make him take the abuse for their lack of communication.
@MuItimach@AlpacaParkour I totally agree but I think Luke did a great job. The only problem I had was he heads the biggest group in one of the largest games and didn't utilize clans in any way that was significant. He understood what makes clans important and left all of it out in Destiny.
@MuItimach@M_C_Alexander Everything you just said BUT will Sony do more marketing bc they already had a huge budget for marketing pre-launch and launch week. Will they put a whole lot more into a push that could be more wasted money? With the majority of the bar being Destiny players would it work?
@Darkburd123@ShaneTheProdigy@HaloRises117 I agree with you a bit. The game reviewed well but the D2 crossover players have a lot to say about it in good terms. You use the term grifters but there is no con here. When they discuss Bungie's history of failures on many levels in D2. There are also many that hate 4 hate.
@The_______Cat@KotoneJiyeon@MarathonDevTeam I agree but had they never shared the video no one would have ever known about it other than 2 teams. Bungie would have never figured it out on there own.
@CoolRunnersClub @Thzapameko@MacticsG1 Extraction shooters are a niche genre to start with and then Bungie/Joe want to make it hardcore, from their own words, to standout means less players to start with and they just can't pull the average to slightly above pvp crowd in a bigger base.
@crossden123@isolatedrook I don't care for the game personally but it isn't bad. I used the term hardcore bc that is what Bungie said for months on end. They said this isn't for average or even above average pvp players. They said they wanted it more hardcore than any other extractions to set it apart.
@colincowherd heard your take on BB not being a first ballot and agree. You also used the Mona Lisa with no context about it. The painting was viewed as personal royal property rather than a public artwork. There is no comparison here people aren't property in this case.
@BogOnMyDog It is hated on but Bungie said it was t for the casual 1.0 players. It was for the top PvP players. They got what they wanted from the game. Now they have to live with it.
@itsDWGaming@the_abduco@EndymionYT π― agree but he shouldn't even allow those people on his account. He also shouldn't ever use his personal account for business comms.
@MathRockSucked@GamerHijabi@Bungie If he used teams channel he would keep his personal channel personal and STOP using his personal social to tweet out game issues and Information. Bungie should have never allowed that to happen from the beginning for just safety and mental health.
