This week is all about raising awareness of the importance of staying gas safe in our homes. Unsafe gas appliances can put you at risk of fires, explosions, carbon monoxide poisoning and serious health issues.
Crews from Hatfield Green Watch rescued a mother cat and her newborn kittens. The mum had given birth to her kittens under floorboards at a property in Bishops Rise, Hatfield. Crews assisted rescuing the kittens leaving them in the care of their mother and homeowner #AnimalRescue

Last night a fire at an industrial estate on Coopers Green Lane, St Albans saw 10 fire engines, 5 officers, and specialist units, including a command unit, water bowser and aerial ladder platform, in attendance. Crews will investigate and advise local businesses on fire safety.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with a fire in the Coopers Green Lane area of St Albans 🚒
