Drama aside, for Jumbo selling Rogla at his peak for big bucks is huge from a financial point of view. I am not sure how long could he have stayed as main GC for the Giro for instance. I believe that he still has a few good years left. Moving to Bora is also good for cycling.

Sepp Kuss came directly to Mikel Landa at the finish to apologise for sprinting him on the line. It’s not in the images but he said he was sorry and that it wasn’t his style: “I didn’t want to do it, but I had to take the bonus seconds”.

Landa tells us that it says a lot about him and that he appreciates his words.

Every day it’s a good opportunity to find an inspiration in the values of this sport. Today the best demonstration of respect we found it between those two riders.
