Don’t fall into the trap of letting others snatch away your confidence. People tend to do that with their words and actions. Know their agenda. Don’t shrink back. As long as you’re doing what’s right, go forth. Remember, in the end, only the Almighty’s opinion matters!

The system is intricately tied to religion such that sensationalism can ruin policy actions targeted at reforming it.Governments must throw in the carrot and the stick.
The North East Development Commission, state governments in the Northeast, must realise the importance of collaborating with religious, traditional institutions and civil society organization before the Almajiri system can be sustainably reformed. @farar_tattabara @EqualAccessIntl
The Northeast states must work with civil society groups and faith-based organisations to identify stakeholders and spheres of influence in target communities. The Almajiri system is an ancient practice that dates back to the 11th century.
Setting up a CSOs national data bank will be very useful. This will improve the institutional memory and information on CSOs and subsequently make the appropriate disbursements of funds.

For example,Nigeria’s donors must realize the strategic role of CSOs in promoting good governance and development. At the same time, the government should establish a National CSOs TrustFund, in order to provide local funding sources and support.
