It works! And it feels good! Teamwork, dream work, upper echelon customer service collide and made me smile 😃
Had a light jet land at the @HavenASG FBO at AMA yesterday. Unfortunately had a bird strike on final. Pilot was highly stressed not knowing what to do. So I let him know our @HavenASG MRO team were onsite and available if he’d like them to evaluate, much to his relief he asked for that. The damage was beyond limits. So…. Now we have a lobby full of customers REALLY wanting to get on to their destination. We said hay, if you’re interested, one of our Falcon 50’s just came out of maintenance last night and is available. BOOM 💥 @HavenASG Charter to the rescue.
FBO team, MRO team, Charter team, all worked hand in hand to deliver a seamless excellent experience for our client 💪🔥🤠
So proud of all of them and was stoked to see the system work as designed. Happens a lot where one hand helps the other, but this was a particularly fun one.
In aviation, there is no room for "close enough." A fraction of a degree off course can lead to a different continent. A single overlooked detail in maintenance can be catastrophic. I have spent my career operating in this environment of absolute accountability, and I have learned that life and leadership demands the same level of precision.
For years, I built a career that looked successful on the outside while I neglected the most important asset I own: myself. Losing 190 pounds (so far) wasn't about a number on a scale; it was about reclaiming the discipline I applied to my company & career and applying it to my character. It was about proving that I am the one in control and accountable, not my impulses or my environment.
This is the standard I live by:
1. Execution Over Emotion: I do not negotiate with my feelings. If the flight plan is set, we fly. If the workout is scheduled, it happens. Progress is built on what you do when you don't feel like doing it.
2. Extreme Accountability: Whether it’s a huge revenue goal or a marathon time, the responsibility starts and ends with me. No excuses.
3. Leading by Example: I have 12-year-old twins watching my every move. I don’t tell them how to be disciplined; I show them. I don’t tell my team to strive for excellence; I do my best to model it.
4. Continuous Ascent: Success is not a destination; it’s a rate of climb. We are either getting better or we are decaying. There is no middle ground.
I am doing all I can to build a life and a business that reflect these values . If you are striving for these things as well, let’s connect and work together on big, highly accountable goals.
Good morning ☀️
Private aviation is evolving:
- EVTOL (electric vertical take off and landing) is becoming a reality.
- SAF ( sustainable aviation fuels) are looking more likely and possible.
- Technological advances and drive a new era of private jets.
Market insiders (and I) predict a boom in fractional shares by 2026.
