It is self-evident that the HEA is disheartened by the revelation of School Committee member and mayoral candidate Scott Wood's background check. To remind, the teachers fought specifically last summer/early fall to include a transparent system of diversity, equity and inclusion
to be included in our contract. Currently, we seek the same outcome in our current ESP contract negotiations. We expect better of all the HPS stakeholders, especially those charged with leading our schools.
