Anything that appeared to be legitimate lifesaving funding continued and is now administered by the State Department.

If DOGE asked for recipient verification before sending taxpayer money, that is basic oversight.
The bigger question: why is verifying government spending is treated as dangerous, but sending money through opaque programs is treated as compassion?
