Can't speak for all drivers, but I know that I appreciate when riders appreciate me being out on the road.

A couple folks ask how long I stay out.

One deciding factor is 3 crappy riders in a row.

Drove just under 11.5 hours yesterday. Completed 24 trips. Several wonderful conversations.

Hope today goes as well, but less hours on the road.

If you waiting for an Uber, avoid changing the pick up location in the app.

It can really mess things up for a driver.

If you notice an error, or need to move, message call the driver instead.

This will save time and aggravation for you and your driver.

When you wait 15 min for your Uber driver, it's bad form to keep driver waiting 5 min for your entitled foul mouth @$$ to emerge from the building.

Time = $$. Drivers can and will cancel the trip when the timer expires and you will pay a cancelation fee.

Respect goes 2 ways.

If you take an Uber and have gone to the beach, please be a decent human being and change your clothes if you went in the water and/or may track sand into the driver's vehicle.

This saves the driver valuable time and effort having to clean your mess.

Not only did she warn me about a traffic collision fronting her pick up spot, but she also moved to a safer place to make pick up easier.

Riders often hop in and say "sorry for the short ride".

No need to be sorry. Rectify the situation by tipping a few dollars or simply 5☆ rating the driver.

Rating the driver costs nothing, but could mean a lot to the driver.

If you think you might need an Uber XL, order one to be safe.

Friendly reminder, UberX max is 3 people. Nobody can sit in the front passenger seat.

If you have a child in a car seat, most compact sedans will only fit 1 adult and the car seat.

It may be more pricey, but you'll need to order a XL for 2 adults and a car seat.

Friendly word of advice... If you have luggage or items that won't easily fit in your lap, let your Uber driver know.

2 trips canceled today due to excessive luggage. One trip was a 25 min drive. Wasted my time and rider missed their flight.

Rainy weather means hazardous driving conditions. Be careful out there.

Help your driver get you where you’re going. Double check the location on your app with where you are waiting for the driver. Text driver if there is a discrepancy.
