The Hawai‘i State Legislature held a press conference today to officially commemorate the month of September as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Month for the state. Mahalo to the Hawai‘i FASD Action Group and community advocates who came out to raise awareness on this issue.
As of August 31, all donated items have either been sent to Maui or are in the distribution networks geared towards the wildfire victims. Mahalo nui loa for supporting our ʻohana in Maui!

Today, Gov Green signed 11 bills into law that support education initiatives in Hawai'i! Some of the bills include authorization and funding for teacher housing, expanding the Preschool Open Doors program , & the creation of a program to assist childcare providers get accredited.
