An attendee (@LeilaniMaxera) talking abt the way folks have solidarity until it makes them uncomfortable. Esp folks who say they stand with Hawaiians yet still vacation in Hawaii, saying that they deserve a break or they love it here. #HoikeNaKaPo

The third and last session is filled with some diasporic Sāmoan realness!! First we have Penina Taesali who published her first book of poetry, Sourcing Siapo, with Ala Press in 2016 and then we published her second book, SUMMONS: Love Letters for the People in 2018.
In her workshop, interrogate what role a pause or rest can do for your creativity. She will be guiding you through several creative prompts to activate the space in between in writing! (e kala mai, adding two of the same photo to fit alt text)
