HAWI LIBRARY WORLD CUP: Vote for your favourite book cover in each group, supporting your tutor group's cover! Voting is open until Monday, June 15th. The most voted books will advance in a knockout format until one book and tutor group is crowned the champion!
This week, our students are excited to join the "Read Around the World" Challenge by reading books featuring the World Cup countries. As they read, they will record their progress on a scoring card to earn House Points, gaining more points for each country they explore!
Yesterday, we held the first session of The Hawi Games, a literary escape game created by the student librarians. It was an incredible experience, highlighting teamwork, critical thinking, and a deep love of reading among the players. Well done to this amazing team!
Thursday was an absolutely fantastic World Book Day! The school was buzzing with energy as students showed up in the most imaginative and vibrant costumes. From beloved characters to clever interpretations, the creativity was off the charts!
We were thrilled to welcome author Christopher Edge yesterday! He gave an engaging talk to Year 7 and 8 classes. The students participated in an interactive escape room, showcasing impressive teamwork and problem-solving skills. It was a memorable day for everyone
The library was absolutely buzzing with excitement today! The House Competition was a success, with each House proudly represented. Our students truly amazed us with their incredible knowledge of books and manga!

It's World Book Week! Yesterday, the students played a Literary Truth or Dare game featuring their favourite book characters. It was amazing to see them impersonate their characters and share their passion and knowledge with their friends!
