The alternative route eastbound is via Duke Street, Arthur Street and Noble Place. Westbound is the reverse.
Pedestrian access will also be diverted.
Works to construct ramped access to the stage platform at Wee Haugh will commence from late Jan/early Feb 2025. Works access will be required from the points of entry, whilst the playpark and access to Victoria Footbridge will remain open throughout.

Three-way temporary traffic lights are required at the Sainsbury's junction on Commercial Road next week.
These will be in operation from Monday 30th September for a maximum of 5 days.
Additional gullies are being installed to reduce ponding on the road during heavy rain.
A further section of Mansfield Road will be under one lane traffic light control from Monday 9th to Wednesday 11th September 2024. The lane closure is located opposite the Scottish Water Wastewater Treatment Works. This is for remediation works to drainage and road surfacing.
A section of Mansfield Road will be under one lane traffic light control from Wednesday 4th to Wednesday 11th September 2024.
The lane closure begins from Mansfield Footbridge to Eastfield Road.

Weensland Footbridge Opening 11am Wed 4th September.
This marks the fourth and final footbridge to be opened by the Scheme and creates a new connection across the Teviot at the east of town as part of the Hawick Active Travel Network. The public are very welcome to attend.
