Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

His distinguished service to Dubai and his contribution to the UAE Armed Forces leave behind a legacy that will be remembered with great respect.

On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, and on my own behalf, I convey my deepest sympathies to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al Maktoum family, and the brotherly people of the United Arab Emirates.

May Allah Almighty grant the departed soul the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family. Ameen.
