@Squeeze1i Not really rebuilding the old ones so much as learning where those routines weren't right for me. I needed those routines to "mask up" and pass as "normal" on a day to day basis.
I've given up on that as a goal and working to live more simply and avoid the overstim/crash cycle.
$GME - Great earnings and credit where due to @ryancohen and the board for authorizing a buyback increase. Can we pull the trigger an that ASAP at these levels. With TTM of $1.48 EPS it's a $30 stock at even 20 P/E with 0 consideration given to the cash pile (+$10/share)!
@MajinWolf_7@BKR1988NE@kim_siever For some people that's sort of the point. Live minimally, cultivate a life you don't need a break from. Find joy in the change in seasonal produce, your community, build a daily yoga practice, etc
It costs less than $2k or so a month even in the US. Just a different choice
@magsonthemoon@Malone_Wealth Kevin knows or should know this as the "CEO" of a wealth services firm. He's just being intentionally obtuse for the clicks. Probably also helps out his CC positions some how to spread what could look like insider moves to the uninformed.
@notcontentious Some of us posting advice on how to eat more economically (whole grains, pulses, locally grown seasonal veggies) are doing it precisely because it's a way to combat rampant over consumption debt based capitalism.
Far from "bootstraps", I'm more of an "exit their system" guy
@herosnvrdie69 Two things can be true at the same time:
In general, shit's too expensive. We don't get what we pay for as profit has been squeezed in every direction and we get little non-military benefit from taxes
You can still eat a varied and nutritious diet for $5/day/person.
RE: the food debate:
Would you pay $25/day to have a full day of prepared food delivered at once daily:
B'fast Smoothie + 16oz Cold Brew Coffee
Chopt/Chipotle/Cava Style Bowl + Probiotic Fruit Soda
Bread & Cheese board w/ nuts, spreads, chocolate, etc. + Iced Herbal Tea
@TheMarieOakes Seriously! Whole grains, pulses, locally grown seasonal veggies, seeds for sprouting, etc. It's comically easy to get by without processed food and so much cheaper.
I feel like we need a new adult Home Ec class. "How to shop, prep and plate for $50 in 10 hours a week"
@AdamSimecka I'm essentially a single issue voter at this point. Is there a candidate running for the office at hand who doesn't take corporate or dark PAC money?
Left and Right are meaningless when they all have the same donors. Team working class til I die.
@stelzner_n1150@vol_fir I go to the grocery store at least weekly and eat 90% organic, fair trade, locally grown or similar with maybe 1 processed food item a day.
Average daily food cost is around $5-6 for the entire day, not a single meal.
Cooking and home economics in general is a lost skill.
@om_patel5 If your home firewall isn't pretty much perfect, you're might eventually have a bad time when you connect an IOT device to the world like this. Doubly so to a "vibe coded" app.
