An emotional day… my last day with HPSA as Jamie left y6 today. It’s been a fun but crazy 9 years!
In that time HPSA raised £86k+ and made £106k+ of donations to school!
Fresh faces are needed to take HPSA forward - email [email protected] if you can help.

Did you join us at our Hawkedon Primary School Summer Fayre on 18th June? Please tell us what you thought by taking part in our short survey. Thank you! https://t.co/XqT6WVKx4X
Thanks to EVERYONE who made our Hawkedon Primary School Summer Fayre 2022 a success - whether you helped to organise, volunteered on the day or came along to support to us, it was great to see our local community join together for some fun in the (almost!) sun.
A day of cleaning after the fayre
1/ BBQ (after it cooked 150 burgers) - yuk. 2 hour+ job and another hour of help from the dishwasher
2/ washing face painting sponges and towels
3/ drying sponge splat sponges 🧽
All clean now 😀 Anyone fancy helping with these jobs next time?
Summer Fayre - cakes wanted!
Please bring your cake donations (home-made or shop-bought) to the school office on Fri 17 June, or drop off at the Junior playground between 8:15-10:30am on Sat 18 June. For home-made cakes, please add a note with the ingredients. Thank-you!!!
2pm TODAY is your chance to buy your fayre tokens (on TicketSource) with advance discount! Tokens also available to buy at the fayre.
Still looking for a few helpers - particularly for tombolas, but other slots available. Thank you to all those who came forward to help on the BBQ
Are you free between 11:30am-1pm or from 2-3pm this Saturday (18th June)?
We desperately need helpers for the BBQ, otherwise we won't be able to run it at all. Please see ParentMail for sign-up details.
This is your Summer Fayre - please help to make it a great one!
A huge thank-you for all your Bag2School donations - we collected 415kg of used clothes, which has raised a fantastic sum of £166 for the HPSA!
#ReduceReuseRecycle
Monday 13th June... we're sure there was something... Ah yes! Bag2School drop off after school on Monday (or before 9am on Tuesday). Please bring in your good quality reusable clothes in a blue or black bin bag, and help raise money for your favourite School Association.
You helped us raise an amazing £400 today in our Queen's Head coin trail. Our spiral measured 70m in length... perfect for the Queen's 70 year reign! Thank you for saving all your spare change. Thanks too for the Summer Fayre tombola donations.
I’d really appreciate some help this evening, sorting stuff for the tombolas. At the moment (7:05pm) I’m here on my own in the hall with so much to do! Pop in and help any time before 9pm please! Thanks, Caroline
