Three times he was first-team All Big Ten. Forced three fumbles in his last home game and had six on the season. Had 25 tackles in one game.

Went on to be the NFL Defensive Player of the Year and an all-Pro for the Colts. When he was healthy there weren't many better in professional football. Twice a First Team All-Pro
