Freshman Charlie Sullivan claims the victory in the silver race of the KC Metro Mile running a very impressive 4:20.59 full mile. And he had lots of teammates to cheer him on! This is a top 15 time for a freshman in the nation currently.

Congratulations to Jack McGovern for his 3rd place finish in the Hoka Festival of Miles Missouri Mile with a new personal best of 4:08.62.

Fun evening in Arcadia, California where Jake Bond improved his season best 800 to 1:55.2 and Jack McGovern broke his school record in the 3200 with a 8:49.1 which is the 3rd fastest in Missouri history. Jack Meyer placed 3rd in long jump.

Good way for sophomore Jack McGovern to start his outdoor season with a sub 9 minute 3200 and a school record. 8:59.0 finishing 3rd at Festus today. Great race by many of Missouri’s best! Congrats to all!

It was a master class in making a great move and then showing impressive strength and speed to dominate the talented field. The time gives him the word standard as well. He runs for Mission Run Baltimore - Under Armour! Awesome to watch in person!

Today got even better for Hawklets distance as former runners represented in Boston. Henry Acorn ‘25 won his heat and set a PR of 4:00.15 (on his birthday) in a well run race! Wes Porter ‘20 followed up with the 9th fastest all-time indoor mile 3:50.37 to win the overall!

What a privilege to see Wes Porter ‘20 compete for USA in the World XC Championships today in the mixed relay! He got the baton in 6th and brought us to 3rd with the team finishing a solid 5th. Great start to his professional career with Under Armour Mission Run Baltimore!

🏃📚 ACADEMIC ALL-STATE 📚🏃

All eight of our @HawkletsXC State Series runners earned Academic All-State honors! Requirements were a 3.60+ cumulative GPA, 25+ ACT score, or 1150+ SAT score.

Rock placed 8th at State after qualifying for the program's 19th consecutive State Meet.

.@HawkletsXC alum Wes Porter took 2nd in the men's 2k, clocking 5:25.8 at the US XC Championships in Portland, earning a spot on the Team USA roster.

Porter will compete in the 4x2,000 mixed relay at the World XC Championships on Jan. 10 in Tallahassee, Florida. @CoMoSports
