It doesn't matter how hard you try to convince people of something it doesn't matter how right you sound to them they will always be on the offense to make a point that they are right when they are not
I lost my aunt to lupus, and I watched her suffer every single day. She loved Michael Jackson so much and would play his music all throughout the house. She used to always say that he was like her because they both had lupus. That disease is so painful to witness, and it broke my heart seeing her struggle with it every day until her final years.
Now, years later, here I am living with MS myself. Having an autoimmune disease is not for the weak, especially when people can be so inconsiderate and dismissive about what you go through. Michael had to live with that kind of pain and misunderstanding his entire life, and that’s something a lot of people will never truly understand.
Exactly.. Michael’s lupus caused inflammation, lesions, scarring, and thinning of the skin, especially in areas exposed to the sun, such as his face and nose. In some cases, the disease can also affect skin quality and make the healing process more difficult.
As a result, when so many people mocked or criticized the appearance of his nose, they often had no idea how complex the situation really was. The discussion was almost always reduced to speculation about plastic surgery, while the real medical issues he was dealing with were largely ignored or misunderstood by the public.
Today, with more information available and a greater understanding of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, it is easier to view the situation with empathy rather than sensationalism. Michael’s appearance was not simply an aesthetic matter it was also shaped by health conditions that profoundly affected his life and public image over the years 🥺❤️🩹

Sean Penn says he now refuses to do selfies even if it’s with a Holocuast survivor or disabled child.
“People should not do selfies ever with anyone. It's bad for everyone. It’s a soul-sucker… It’s the Holocaust grandmother & her 6-year-old paraplegic wheeling over? It’s a hard no.”
