This day in Vancouver #Canucks history, May 17, 1995:

Well I am a diehard Canucks fan and as they Rebuild I think you have to stick with Petey. I believe he has courage, passion and skills that you can’t teach. He is still a kid in a new country and needs a role model to control build his confidence and career in the NHL. 🥅🏒
Tell me I'm wrong - if (and we all know its a BIG IF) #Canucks can unload Elias Pettersson without retaining a single cent on what remains of his 8yr $92.8 million dollar contract - it'll go down as one of the best trades in team history. Remarkable how far he's fallen.
@tsnjamesduthie@kbieksa3 Hey James, big fan of yours and Kevin. Hope you are working together in some capacity in the future, it was entertaining and fun and insightful with all of you guys. Yes, Elliott too. But I’m 6-2 and 265 if you need backup with Kev.
The locker room is in disarray to say the least. Lack of leadership, lads waiting to get traded, no one has anyone’s back. Leaves the kids to make mistakes in an effort to win. 🥅🏒
@provincesports@benkuzma Where sanity prevails the current Canucks ownership, FO and coaching staff are all undeserving of the positions they're holding.
Sadly this organization has been ran like an asylum for so long, so there's very little hope for that.
