In Kindergarten art students are building on our observational drawing skills. They are noticing patterns, recording details, and asking questions about what we see in flowers from our HSA learning garden 🌼🌸🌺
Dr. Brewer joined classes this week for a hands-on introduction to Proficiency Scales. Students put their creativity to work by building a person or animal out of Play-Doh—and then used a proficiency scale to reflect on their creation, set a new learning goal, and work toward it!

Children breathe faster than adults which means they also inhale more pollutants per breath. Their lungs are still growing throughout childhood and into their teens, making them susceptible to lasting damage from air pollution.
