When math meets science (the immediate effects of wonder and engagement with the world). Grade 5/6 always welcome opportunities to solve problems, work cooperatively, experiment and explore!
It took some time to get past the fact that we could write on our desks, but once students realized it was alright to do so there was lots of excitement identifying and measuring angles.
