We live in a country where whiteness has not only shaped and dominated the curriculum but also determines if and how other cultures and identities are represented.
I want Black students to do more than survive. I want them to be affirmed in their identity and to realize the greatness that lies within. I want them to realize true success, a vocation that is of their choosing and aligned with their purpose.
