And almost more importantly (for those not wanting to cross the threshold), we’re still continuing to do deliveries & very happy to serve customers from the door!
Some may have noticed we’re letting folks back in! After opening the door to our one way system on Monday (along with screens to aid social distancing), we’ve been observing & tweaking & adding & subtracting to it...We are now ready to tell you about it -consider yourselves told!
And a big thank you for your support & custom! Happy to keep on delivering or you can now come in (following social distancing measures of course)!
When lockdown first started my husband and I had to self isolate for 14 days.
During that time we were brilliantly supported by Derek and the team here at @Hay_Deli , who delivered food to us.
Let’s all #StaySafe and #ShopLocal so we can support great local stores like this.

To show our love for the #HayFestival2020, come down to the centre of town and help decorate the Fir tree.
Please stay socially distant and don’t damage the tree! The display will stay there until Sunday and pics will be uploaded.
If any other business would like postcards to sell for charity, then please get in touch.
And yes, we’ve still got plenty of flour, yeast, pasta, hand sanitiser and much much more!

We’re selling postcards for 50p at the door & adding one to deliverers (in lieu of a delivery charge).
All proceeds are going to the Brecon Food Bank which continues to do amazing work helping feeding those in need of help in these difficult times (they’ve seen a 300% increase in demand from the same time last year).
We’re tweaking our hours - still ‘open’ Mon-Sat until 3:30. We’ve a few slots for deliveries (mostly at the start of the week) - email us on [email protected] & we’ll see if we can fit you in!
And yes, we’ve got bread flour, tinned tomatoes & toilet paper (plus much more)!
