@LFCLaurie Get your point but you can't exactly claim overprotection here. He's had a decent enough season and been shoved into a massively underperforming team with a naff manager. Yeah, I expected more when we signed him, but I expected more of everyone this season.

@LFC_Laith I hope Wirtz wants to be a Liverpool player for most of his career. Keep him under Slot and he won't thrive, but the second we give him a real system to work with, he'll absolutely fly. Just hope he stays long enough for it to happen.

@lfcnrj I get what you're saying, but Wirtz is playing in a Liverpool team almost at it's worst, and neither of the two Cherki assists today were particularly worthy of much recognition. If anything, Guehi saves him on the second. In terms of quality, Wirtz will prove the better player.

@DaveOCKOP Just an absolute joke really. The interchanging of him and Kerkez allowed for Kerkez to develop on a reasonable amount of minutes, and keeps Robbo in a leadership position for the club, which is great, because there isn't a single person at Liverpool that doesn't respect him.
