Haydn Lee - VCS

We help the most destitute and vulnerable people in society.

The most important is getting people of the streets and into safe accommodation.

After four deaths in York’s rivers in a fortnight, I’ve been out with the @yorkrescueboat . The volunteers do an amazing job of looking after people around the Ouse and Foss. @BBCLookNorth

Someone DIES homeless in our region every two weeks.

That's why I insisted the House of Commons hear, know & remember the names of those we've lost in the last 15 months alone.

This shame must never go forgotten. And this moral emergency must end.

When you succeed in helping the less fortunate again & it pays off. #craig found himself homeless again but after we picked up the pieces, we got him a job with my boss. Thanks to @playerscars_uk
