@NicolaWillisMP Both numbers are insignificant. Labour came into power in 2017. Even if it’s 8,000, thats 2000 p.a. Almost everyone would agree we at least 100,000 houses (now), some would argue twice that. Even at the rate the PM suggested means it will take at least 50 years to get there! Ouch

I also wonder about the global ‘supply’ we rely on to sustain the advantage we have accrued... Covid-19 is a war, cutting the supply chain has many, in this case other unintended consequences
