@MetOpera Looks to me like Met are looking to stage traditional "popular" operas, I guess to boost their revenues which are under pressure. However, Met's LiveinHD always seem to me to be wonderful quality, the staging, the size of the cast, the singing, so they cut a bit of slack with me

Finally been able to close by @HalifaxBank account which has been open for at least 9 years. Couldn't do it by in app messaging, they are swamped. Eventually able to do it over the phone, got message saying they are experiencing high phone call volume, long wait. Too woke.

#ROHtraviata. Watching La Traviata at the Everyman cinema. The screen image is not great. The colours have no depth, sharpness not great, the black is dark grey, like an old film. Met much better images.

I bought a Google Nest thermostat 24 months ago. It has a known and common fault; the wifi connection fails after 24-36 months. Google refused to replace the thermostat as 24 months and 3 days had elapsed when the fault occurred! Avoid. #GoogleNestSupport

@googlenesthelp Hi. I have a Google Nest Pro thermostat, installed in November 2019. It will not connect to wifi. I have gone through all the steps several times, other devices in the house get wifi fine, I've reset the Nest several times, but it always fails to connect to my wifi. Help!

@British_Airways My flight to Madeira (Funchal) is tomorrow. I've uploaded my NHS vaccination certificate with QR code, and Madeira entry QR code. The system rejected my documentation 3 times! ? system thinks Portugal and PCR required, but Madeira only vaccination required.

One evening during the performance the lighting failed. The director came on stage and said “Give us a song, Marianne” and she stood upon stage and sang.
