@nutzcraw Same thing my abusive ex said… he’d never hurt a woman or go out with two women on the same day, but he’d cheat and assault them. so many people don’t even know what constitutes SA. Until you’ve been involved you have no idea
@ESIaustralia 1 in 5 have been assaulted and that’s only what’s reported. 90% or more of assaults are men. There’s an epidemic in this country and it needs to be talked about.
@Jonnyberotten It’s SA. That’s what it is. They shouldn’t have done what they did simple as that. They’ve already broken club standards staying out drinking and drugs, this is all on them.
@TheConservati19 My ex said exactly the same thing as you are and he assaulted me multiple times among many other things. There’s an epidemic and it should be talked about. If you aren’t happy then don’t watch but people shouldn’t be talking about things they don’t know about
@DrewPavlou I’m sorry but it’s still SA cause it wasn’t consented to regardless of payment. And the violence issue? It’s serious, I’ve had enough awful experiences and none of it has involved strippers, drugs or alcohol. Most happens with people you know and trust.
@_bl13_ I feel scared working in the industry around people that I feel like I should trust but I felt so uncomfortable going in. The amount of times I’ve been told ‘see you boys’ or something similar like I’m not even there that’s the start.
@turtlemagpies@paul_dowsley@tommorris32 1. They have more than 30-60s cause I’ve seen clips longer
2. The issue is the violence, not anything to do with Sydney’s finals. They don’t need to report on it it’s simple
3. It’s not about detail it’s about acknowledgement
This is why there’s such an epidemic
@turtlemagpies@paul_dowsley@tommorris32 There’s implications in the AFL for this that aren’t Sydney’s finals. It’s also highly disrespectful to all female staff and the AFLW club and players
@turtlemagpies@paul_dowsley@tommorris32 Because some people don’t watch all news and the issue is much more than this, it’s not an ‘incident’ that they ‘found themselves in’. The AFL media should be discussing how violence against women is rampant in Australia. How AFL is a part of the culture and a part of the issue
