Saturday we played Kearns and found out they had a player that couldn’t play because he was fighting cancer. Today we surprised him with a visit to his house with some gifts for him and his family. You got this Juel!! #hayestough

I was connected with Amy after hearing her story. Her son is battling DIPG (0% survival💔) and a few weeks ago her husband died in a car accident. They say you aren’t given more than you can handle but sometimes I am not sure. Sent her $5,000 this morning to pay her mortgage

Most of all I am sick of the fact that 7 kids die a day just in the US, from cancer. Our leaders are failing our kids and it is so discouraging to witness! #braintumorawarenessmonth

Two children I know have passed from a brain tumor in less than a week. Brain cancer is the most common cancer in children under 9. It is all so heartbreaking. The irony that it is brain tumor awareness month and we have lost 2 DIPG warriors in a week is not lost on me.

How many children have to die from cancer before our politicians get alarmed? Even half as concerned as they have been about coronavirus? I am sick of knowing that every two minutes another family is hearing, “Your child has cancer!” Our children deserve better. #hayestough
