RIVET was created on the vision of creating opportunities for young people to say YES and to have the social, financial, and imagination capital to say yes back.
I sat down with our CEO Eric Dawson for a real conversation about the role of young people in social change.
Thank you to the @MilkenInstitute team for inviting me to join a panel about engaging younger audiences at the MEA Summit in Abu Dhabi. I enjoyed speaking about our work at @TIME and learning more about how other brands are evolving to meet new expectations during the #MIGlobal panel, “The Power of Youth Culture in Shaping Brands.”
Today @TIME has the largest and youngest audience in our 100+ year history. We’re meeting people where they are today, by delivering TIME's storytelling across innovative formats and experiences, including video, social media platforms, live events, and with our AI Agent. That includes our journalism that spotlights the next generation of leaders, such as the TIME100 Creators and TIME100 Next lists.
Thank you to our panel moderator, Michelle Stevenson, and my fellow panelists for the engaging discussion: CEO of PacSun @BrieaneOlson, CEO of Golden Goose Silvio Campara, Co-Founder of Blank Street Coffee Vinay Menda, and Chief Impact Officer at RIVET @HayfaSdiri.

🔴Live from our panel on #Innovation and #DigitalEconomy at #IGNITENorthAfrica in Tunis 🇹🇳: “Young entrepreneurs need 3 things: financial capital, social capital and imagination capital. Only 0.002% of philanthropic funds go to young innovators. Social capital is the ability to network with people who can support one's growth, personally and professionally. Imagination capital is the ability for young people to imagine themselves as successful, within their countries.”
