Collaboration = Massive growth & exposure for all parties involved.
When we collaborate with other people, influencers, brands, etc... we expand our reach, build a heftier online presence & authority, and create more trust (faster) with a larger audience of people.
Finally… Are people reaching out to you? Do you have leads coming in?
It’s important to monitor the "health" of our content & how our audience is responding to it.
Go get a check-up every week to diagnose how your content is performing.
Your content needs a quick "check-up" every week to make sure everything is working as it's supposed to.
First, the easiest & most common way to diagnose your content is to first check out your analytics.
It’s important to review the numbers.
Not obsess over them, review them.
Are they asking questions? Are they tagging other people? Are they saying what they like or don't like?
Comments are direct feedback about the content.
If the comments are positive & they start conversations- amazing!
If not… Something isn’t resonating with the audience.
It takes 65% more time to write a blog post now than it did just a few years ago. That tells us a couple of things.
The QUALITY of content we have to produce is much higher than it was before.
And
Consumers CARE more about detailed, valuable, purpose-driven, information.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought to the end, through her cancer, with unwavering faith in our democracy and its ideals. That’s how we remember her. But she also left instructions for how she wanted her legacy to be honored. My statement: https://t.co/Wa6YcT5gDi
You should see a boost in engagement.
If you don't see a boost, that could mean the content being posted isn’t resonating enough with your core audience.
And if it's not resonating, it's not converting… But that’s a long road to go down & we'll save it for another day ;)
WHEN to post is equally as important as what to post.
Engagement on socials follows a bell curve throughout the day…
So when you’re about to hit "post", look at the data from your OWN audience first.
Check out when your audience is most active and post during those times. 😁
A better approach that’ll lead to more results, would be to talk about the various ROOT causes of WHY people aren't exercising in the first place & HOW to start fixing those issues...
Social media ain't no magic pill.
We can’t just post and expect clients to come knocking.
I see mission-driven companies posting content that's simply too broad & doesn’t resonate with their ideal customer's SPECIFIC situation.
And at that point, their just posting to post... It's not serving any real purpose & frankly, it becomes a waste of time.
Example: You’re a health coach posting about exercise and why it's good.
Problem is; most people already know that exercising is good and they need to do more of it.
@davidrocknyc @godonewyork The gal I used to work with, Janinne, is a badass. Here's her website to get in contact & see what she's all about: https://t.co/Uoy3gZgHzw
By incorporating more of this type of content into your social media, your core community is going to rally around you and support your brand.
If 82% of your audience was more likely to stick around and refer you to other people, how would that impact your business?
82% of consumers feel more positive about a company after consuming custom content…
Custom content speaks to your values, the just cause you’re fighting for, the incredible vision that you have for humanity & your brands’ role within it.
People are 2x more likely to share video content than any other form of content...
By creating videos, you're potentially doubling the size of the audience.
Make more videos that cater to your client's SPECIFIC situation.
They're 2x more likely to share it.
If we have a positive mental attitude, then even when surrounded by hostility, we’ll not lack inner peace. But if our attitude is negative, influenced by fear, suspicion, or helplessness, even when surrounded by our best friends, in comfortable surroundings, we won’t be happy.
We can’t remove external problems at will, but in terms of our inner world we can develop tolerance, forgiveness and contentment. If we have developed peace of mind, we can remain calm no matter what happens in the outside world.
