I only worked @NightingaleNE (and occasionally at Durhams Arnison Centre) on an ad-hoc basis around my full time job in ITU over the last 2 years but what a fantastic experience it was!

and not forgetting the brilliant admin staff on the front desk and security who managed the queues of people we used to get, and make sure we were always kept safe from any anti-vax demonstrators who turned up.

The collaborative working across the whole MDT, the leadership, the learning opportunities & the fun we had! It was just brilliant! I’m proud of what we achieved!

Our Band 2 Colleagues currently earn £9.49 an hour.

In April the Minimum Wage goes up to £9.50 and we know our next pay award (due in Apr) will be delayed AGAIN.

So in April our hardworking band 2 NHS workers will be earning below min wage!
