@mrsslrss@nprmusic I hope that you continue sharing your perspective, voice and love of all things music in wherever your career and writing takes you next.
@mrsslrss@nprmusic I've so appreciated your work - both written & on NPR's podcasts, representing someone like me.... which I don't think happens very often in journalism or music journalism, especially. Always viewed your work as coming from your genuine love of music as an art.
@janeschoenbrun really cool to open a newsletter from Lucy Dacus and see your name (and films!) beaming front and center 👏 Congrats on bringing even MORE cool art into this world. 💙
@samhaves I also find them to be heavy. And because they can sense when they’re off your ear, I’m finding I can’t wear a beanie in cold weather unless I roll the sides up 😬 but agree with your positive points!
So the moral here? Great customer service/experience can pay dividends regardless of whatever the value of your subscription plan. I’ve since recommended Discourse to those who need it for their goals and am still a fan of what they offer and how they work with their customers.
Today, exactly 1 year +1 day ago since I wrote this tweet, I discovered that Discourse cited this on their website.
The irony? The situation that inspired this tweet: my company downgraded our service and their team was helping me get access to our read-only archive.
I wanna shout out the team at @discourse. Often we see Twitter used as a resource to commiserate on bad experiences with services but it's wonderful to amplify the extraordinary. Every time I've needed help, the team at Discourse has been super responsive and helpful. Y'all rock.
My team (@Patreon’s Community team) is one of three finalists for the Creator Community of the Year at the 2023 Community Industry Awards. Please clap.
🏆 We're thrilled to announce the finalists for the 2023 Community Industry Awards! Join us on 23 January as we celebrate these outstanding community professionals and recognize their achievements.

@natalie_eilbert The year Chanukah fell on the same day as Thanksgiving, a young boy made the Menurkey as a Kickstarter project so our office of course backed it and that was our “office menorah” and it was delightful.
@alexandrak Tell me you don’t know how social media/the internet works without telling me you don’t know how social media/the internet works… E’s Twitter will go first.
