Did you know diabetic foot ulcers are treated in a multidisciplinary setting which improves outcomes - but non diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers and lymphoedema aren’t? They are denied access to the same services and expertise they need. We must address this inequality of access. It’s simply unfair.

Toe pressures tell you about perfusion in the foot itself whereas ABPI only tells you about the leg. Toe pressures are equally helpful for leg ulcer compression when ABPIs are too painful.
