Update Bihar: Fasting Muslim Woman Allegedly Forced to Drink Urine Mixed with Liquor, Dies
A shocking incident has been reported from Amhi Panchayat in Ghoghardiha block, Madhubani district, where a fasting Muslim woman allegedly died after being brutally assaulted and forced to drink urine mixed with liquor.
Accused:
The accused include Amhi Panchayat head Kumari Devi, her husband Dinesh Singh, their son Mangnu Singh (arrested), and around 12–15 other relatives/individuals.
Action Taken:
An FIR has been registered at Ghoghardiha Police Station. According to reports, the incident occurred on February 25, when the woman was allegedly tied to a pole and severely beaten. After her condition deteriorated, she was referred to Patna for treatment, where she died on March 1.
Police arrested Mangnu Singh from Phulparas on Sunday evening, while search operations are ongoing to apprehend the other accused.
