We are ending decades of marginalisation by implementing development projects fairly across Kenya. Our goal is to build a nation that every Kenyan is proud to call home.

We have abolished the discriminatory extra vetting process that for many years denied residents of Northern Kenya access to National Identity Cards, effectively locking them out of Government services and opportunities.

To strengthen education in the region, we introduced an affirmative action programme to recruit 100 teachers in every constituency across Northern Kenya. This will increase the number of local teachers and ensure uninterrupted learning.

Inspected ongoing tarmacking of roads within Griftu town, Wajir West Constituency, which we are upgrading at a cost of KSh1 billiion.

Addressed residents of Griftu town ahead of this year's Madaraka Day celebrations, the first ever to be held in Wajir County and the entire Northern Kenya.
