It’s a racist inside joke white ppl don’t think we know about. It implies being Black or disabled are the 2 worst things a person can be. Many can’t fathom that ppl can be both Black & disabled. That’s why Black disabled erasure persists

One of the biggest divides in the disabled community is race. Many YT disabled ppl say they know what it’s like to be Black b/c they’re disabled…as if Black disabled people don’t exist. They have a problem stepping aside and allowing Black disabled ppl to lead these dialogues.

As a Black disabled woman, I see how Lizzo, Beyonce, and Black women artists are targeted and accused of ableism. The same criticism is not reserved for white artists who use ableist language.
