I’m not sure whether Restore Britain would want me to “pack my bags,” but I believe Europe desperately needs a wake-up call. The people associated with Restore Britain are willing to speak honestly about the serious issues facing the UK and Europe, and, more importantly, they’re prepared to do something about them.

This will be my first time voting in the UK since I arrived in 2013. As an immigrant, I never wanted to interfere in what British people wanted for their own country. I even chose not to vote in the Brexit referendum out of respect for the British people.

To me, being a legal immigrant means being a guest. You don’t go into someone else’s house and demand they change their culture or way of life. I never asked anyone to change, instead, I adapted my own beliefs and behaviour to fit in with the people I live and work with every day.

But now, I feel it’s time for me to vote, for Britain’s sake, and for Europe’s sake.
