Ch. 6 Q3  My actions are simple and that is to just be there for the students and follow what is right in spite of all the wrong in the world. Inspiration can come in many forms and I hope the footprints I leave will inspire others in some small way.

Growing up I loved school and could not wait to go each day. I had wonderful teachers and knew that I would teach. I still feel that way with my students. I do not agree with a lot of the changes but, students are still the same and they all want to be great at something!

My rose is being able to help children grow each day. I can only hope that I can ignite that spark.
My thorn is not being able to reach them all. As J. Casas says we must be able to move on and accept new challenges as they march in our door.

This can happen so easily and keeping busy is my way of trying to stay away from any negativity. I think we all need reminders and I welcome any positive thoughts on how to handle this and be a better person for it.
